The cottage has three bedrooms, two with a double bed (4' 6" wide, one on the ground floor) and one room with two single beds (2' 6"). All beds have interior-sprung mattresses and duvets (king-size for the double beds) and two pillows per person. Linen option: for an extra charge of £12 per person per week, we will provide linen and towels, and beds made up on arrival. |
For children, there is a travel cot, highchair and potty. The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower, heated towel rail, airing cupboard and shaver point. There are free logs for the open fire in the sitting room, a flatscreen TV with Sky box, and a DVD player. Heating is by electricity. Everything is operated by a coin meter (£1 coins) except the five storage heaters which are included in the rent. For internet, see Winsford page. The kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker with ceramic top, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washer/drier, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker and plug-in radio. There is a pay phone (no operator calls except 999), and a public phone 200 yards away. Mobiles don't work here. The cottage has its own garage and roadside parking. There is a picnic table, chairs, and barbecue if you want to cook out by the river. On arriving, you will find a bottle of wine to prove your holiday has begun.
