The cottage has all the character you would expect from an old cottage (17th century, possibly earlier, but we can't prove it).
There's an open fire, a disused bread oven, tile and wood floors and a leaded window in the main bedroom.
Set beside the quiet Exford road, the cottage has roses climbing up the wall and a large garden that goes down to the River Exe where there is a packhorse bridge.
When the river is low, children have a great time paddling and exploring under the bridges. |
